Increase Your Life

Sin decreases our lives

Galatians 5:19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Sin is a thief.  It robs us of our peace and joy. It destroys our character and integrity.  It destroys our marriages, families and relationships.  It destroys our walk with God. Sin takes us places we should not go, causes us to do things we should not do, causes us to say things we should not say.  Sin robs us of our favor with God.  Initially, sin makes you feel good, but afterward, it puts you on a guilt and depression trip.  Sin decreases our lives and relationships.

Righteousness and obedience increase our lives!

Matthew 6:33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Romans 14:17 For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 115:14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.  15 Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.

Increase and abundance is the will of God for our lives.  He has more for us than we have ever envisioned or dreamed of.  What He has for us is revealed to us as we obey and walk in His Spirit.  As we obey Him, put Him first, seek His Kingdom and walk in the Spirit, He increases our lives!  Our blessings will overtake us!

Along with righteousness and obedience, we must make good decisions and good choices.  You get positive results when you make good decisions and good choices.

Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

Forsake sin, obey God, live righteous and increase your life.

Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
