Vision For Something Better

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Habakkuk 2:2 Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

How many of you want something different, something more, something bigger, something better?  How many of you are not satisfied with your present situation?  How many of you want to move forward, spiritually, relationally, materially, financially?  You want change?  YOU must make it happen!

Dissatisfaction alone does not produce change.  Real change demands that people become determined, that they become visionaries and dreamers of change.  Real change comes when we write our vision are willing to walk out that vision!  If we haven’t written our vision, chances are we don’t have one.  People without vision risk Pershing in their own pity!

Vision: Something you see written on the canvass of your imagination: a supernatural appearance that conveys a revelation; a thought, concept, an object formed by the imagination: mode of seeing or conceiving: unusual discernment or foresight: the act or power of seeing: Something seen.

Vision is the ability to see beyond where you are presently.
Vision is foresight with insight based on hindsight.
Vision is seeing the invisible and making it visible.
Vision is having an informed imagination.
Vision is an imaginary bridge from the present to a better future.
Vision is a picture held in your mind’s eye of the way things could, should and will be in the days ahead.
Vision is a visual reality, a portrait of a preferred future.
Vision is spiritual and mental seeing.
Vision causes those with no money to envision having a huge bank account.
Vision causes the sick to see themselves healed.
Vision causes those with a bad marriage to envision having a great loving, relationship.
Vision causes the jobless to see and seize the job!
Youth with vision will see themselves finishing college with a degree that will help them to live a good life!  You must visualize it, be committed to it.
Vision fruition takes faith, discipline, determination and work!  You cannot allow your mind or your emotions to control you.  You must consistently guard your emotions and your thoughts and remain focused on your goal.

Visionaries are fun people, but they don't waste time being involved in unfruitful contentions.  Their desire to reach their destiny is greater than fruitless conversations and fruitless relationships.  True visionaries surround themselves with people who are shakers and movers and are determined to accomplish their goals!

Disney world, Disney Land, Disney movies were created by a man with a vision.  Walt Disney tried to join the army but couldn’t because he was too young, so he joined the Red Cross.  He moved to California, started a business with his brother in a garage.  He started drawing cartoon figures such as ducks and eventually he drew a figure of a mouse.  He stayed with his dream of movies and cartoons.  From that point on he stayed true to his goal and the rest is history.  He later penned these words:

Today, the Disney Corporation is worth about 33 billion dollars.  It started with a mouse!

"I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing- that it was all started by a mouse."  - Walt Disney.

Disney has a Park in California and Florida.

Walt Disney said: "I first saw the site for Disneyland back in 1953, in those days it was all flat land - no rivers, no mountains, no castles or rocket ships - just orange groves, and a few acres of walnut trees."

"Disneyland will never be completed.  It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."

Walt died before the park in Florida was built.  Someone said; too bad he isn’t alive to see it.  Directly after those words were spoken someone said; he did see it!  He wrote it down!

The devil does everything he can to trouble our minds, cloud our minds with distractions, contentions, arguments, alcohol, drugs, worry, depression, anger and such, so he can rob us of our creativity and destiny.

Many people never get any place in life because they never take time off from negative routines, negative people, negative surroundings.  Many people never think outside their small box.  I study successful people!

You must dream and visualize something bigger, something better, something beyond your lack, your pain and small surroundings.  I am talking about visualizing something that has worth!

Vision accomplishment is costly and time consuming.  We accomplish nothing by sitting on the couch and complaining about the way things are. Those who fulfill their dreams and visions are willing to work smart and do what slackers are not willing to do.  True visionaries see it!
